I miss pen and paper. Everything I had been writing was lost, I had been typing for an hour. I'm too mentally exhausted to go through that again, unbelievable. Hmmm, all my worst fears have been confirmed. The youth of our country is at war with the robots, the walking televisions. I am so used to writing with pen and paper, I can't figure this blogstream thing out. I guess it is because I don't spend much time on the computer. Did you hear about Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.? He has been my favorite writer since I was thirteen. Harrison Bergeron. I have wanted to be a writer for the longest time, since about seven. My sister remembers me talking about when we were kids. I know the exact moment I knew it was what I had to do. First grade. We had these spelling workbooks and there on one of the pages was a boy dressed as a football player, he was eating this huge meal. Corn on the cob, salad, whatever and I told my teacher I wanted to be a football player. She told me I couldn't, because I was a girl. I hadn't thought of that. All I saw was a healthy boy eating a scrumptious meal. I myself have many brothers and sisters, I had really never had such a feast. I then decided if I couldn't have a meal like that I was going to write about it. I would create a world for myself that gives me everything I could ever want. It is the only way I can breathe. You know I had started on my book and had done character studies, researched some on my characters and my computer crashed. I had to have the entire hard drive replaced. I tried to rescue my material, but everything I saved was corrupted. Boo hoo. I have worked on this for a year. Should have stuck with pen and paper, oh well. I guess I can start fresh. Glad it was only the studies and not most of the book. What about the war? The real estate market? Food prices? Gas prices? What the ???? ! I want to march so bad......MARCH...... C'mon people now, Let's get together, and try to love one another right now. I am sad. My favorite writer died, did I tell you? I know I did. Hey I need some more female names for two characters of my book. Any suggestions?
